Nexxa Technology Sdn Bhd respects and protects the personal privacy and information security of all users (referred to as “you”) who use the Trimo APP platform services. In view of this, Trimo has formulated this “Privacy Policy” (referred to as “this Policy”) to confirm with you the relevant matters regarding the collection, storage, use, disclosure, and protection of your personal information by Trimo during your use of the services provided by Trimo.

This Policy applies to all products and services provided by Trimo. If we require you to provide certain information to verify your identity when using the product, and when connecting to our third-party service providers for services, we will strictly abide by this Privacy Policy in using this information. Before using any products or services provided by Trimo, please be sure to read and fully understand this Policy to ensure thorough comprehension. This Policy has contractual effect after you voluntarily click to confirm your agreement, so please read it carefully and comply with it accordingly.

Furthermore, you need to commit that you are an adult when you start using this product. If you are a minor, you need your guardian’s consent to use this product and agree to comply with the relevant terms of service and privacy policy.

Section 1: Information Collection

  1. Read and Write Storage Permission: When you require us to provide local storage functionality during the use of the APP, we may need to access your device’s memory reading permission to complete application installation updates or other data storage services. If you refuse to provide this permission, you will not be able to use specific functions related to this permission.
  2. Camera and Album Permission: When you use features such as uploading avatars, posting updates, real-name authentication, reporting, and screenshots, we may need to access your camera and album permissions. After enabling camera and/or album permissions, you can use this feature to upload/take videos/photos. Refusing to provide this permission will only disable this particular feature, and it will not affect your normal use of other functions within the product and/or service.
  3. Third-Party SDK Service Permissions: In order for you to receive message notifications, share information on third-party platforms, and use payment services, our application may integrate SDKs or similar applications from authorized partners. We may need to share personal information, including but not limited to hardware models, operating system versions, unique device identifiers. Please understand that apart from the personal information we may indirectly collect from you, the behaviors of third-party SDK service providers are governed by their own privacy policies and are not covered by this policy. However, we also strive to review third-party business qualifications and demand the legal compliance and security of service providers. Third-party SDKs include but are not limited to: RongCloud SDK, Meishi SDK, and others.
  4. Device Information: In order to provide you with better services, send necessary notifications, or transaction messages, we may need to access your device information. Device information includes but is not limited to: device name, device model, MAC address, IMEI, unique device identifiers, device serial number, device configuration, etc. Refusing to provide this permission will only disable this specific feature, and it will not affect your normal use of other functions within the product and/or service.
  5. Precise Location Acquisition: To provide you with improved page displays and product services tailored to your needs, we may need to access your location information (IP address, GPS location). You can stop the platform from collecting information about your device’s location by disabling the device’s location feature. Refusing to provide this permission will only disable this specific feature, and it will not affect your normal use of other functions within the product and/or service.
  6. Recording Permission: To offer you better services, we provide voice and video services during task postings, requiring access to your mobile phone’s recording functionality. Refusing to provide this permission will only disable this specific feature, and it will not affect your normal use of other functions within the product and/or service.
  7. Accessing App Lists: In order to provide you with improved services and assist you in logging into the app via third-party accounts, we may access the accounts created by apps installed on your device. Refusing to provide this permission will only disable this specific feature, and it will not affect your normal use of other functions within the product and/or service.
  8. Read System Log Files: To enhance your experience, in the event of an application crash, we need to collect relevant data for prompt repairs, ensuring smoother app usage. We may need to read system log files for this purpose. Refusing to provide this permission will only disable this specific feature, and it will not affect your normal use of other functions within the product and/or service.

Section 2: How We Use Cookies

To ensure the proper functioning of the website, we store small data files called Cookies on your computer or mobile device. Cookies primarily facilitate your use of the platform’s products or services and help the website in statistical analysis of independent visitors.

When you use our platform’s products and/or services, Cookies will be sent to your device. When you interact with services provided to us by partners, we allow Cookies (or other anonymous identifiers) to be sent to our servers.

      Section 3: Information Use

(1) Platform will not transfer your personal information to task companies, organizations, or individuals without the member’s prior permission.

(2) This website also does not allow any third party to collect, edit, sell, or disseminate members’ personal or corporate information by any means. Any member engaged in such activities, once discovered, will have their service agreement terminated immediately by the website, and their account will be suspended.

Section 4: Information Disclosure and Sharing

We value the protection of your personal information greatly. Except in the circumstances outlined below, we will not share your personal information with any third party outside the platform without your separate consent:

(1) After obtaining your explicit consent;

(7) Collecting personal information from legally publicly disclosed information, such as lawful news reports, government information disclosure channels.

We will only share your personal information for lawful, legitimate, necessary, specific, and explicit purposes. With companies, organizations, and individuals we share personal information with, we will sign strict confidentiality agreements and require them to process information in accordance with our instructions, this policy, and any other relevant confidentiality and security measures. If you do not agree to our provision of your personal information to third parties in accordance with the above terms, please cease using our platform services immediately.

 

Section 5: Information Security

(1) To ensure the security of your information, we implement various reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial security measures in line with industry practices to protect your information from being disclosed, damaged, or lost. These measures include but are not limited to SSL, information encryption storage, access control to data centers, dedicated network channels, and proxies.

(2) We have an advanced industry-specific data security management system centered around data and focused on the entire data lifecycle. This system enhances the security of the entire system through multiple dimensions such as organizational construction, policy design, personnel management, product technology, etc. Currently, in order to enhance the security of your use of our services, those of our affiliated companies and partners, and to protect the safety of your or other users’ or the public’s personal and property security, to prevent phishing websites, fraud, network vulnerabilities, computer viruses, network attacks, network intrusions, and other security risks, and to more accurately identify violations of laws, regulations, or our platform-related agreement rules, we have implemented a tiered protection system.

(3) In the unfortunate event of a personal information security incident, we will notify you in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations: the basic situation of the security incident and possible impact, the measures we have taken or will take, suggestions for your risk prevention and reduction, and remedies available to you. We will inform you of the event through email, phone, push notifications, and short messages. If it’s difficult to notify each personal information subject individually, we will release announcements in a reasonable and effective manner. At the same time, we will also report the disposal of personal information security incidents to regulatory authorities in accordance with their requirements.

(2) Correcting Your Personal Information

You can correct or supplement personal information through the methods outlined in “Accessing Your Information.” If you are unable to manage this personal information through the above methods, you can contact our customer service anytime.

       (3) Deleting Your Information

In the following situations, you can request the deletion of personal information from us by contacting customer service. Upon receiving your request, we will delete your personal information according to the applicable laws:

  1. If our processing of your personal information violates legal provisions.
  2. If we collected and used your personal information without obtaining your explicit consent.
  3. If our processing of personal information seriously violates the agreed terms.
  4. If you have voluntarily cancelled your account.

(4) Protection of Minors’ Information

We attach great importance to the protection of personal information of minors. According to relevant laws and regulations, if you are a minor under the age of 18, you should obtain the consent of your parents or legal guardians before using our services. (5) Account Cancellation

If you need to cancel your Trimo account, please submit your application on the “Trimo Application: Profile > Settings > Account & Security > Delete Account” page. After submitting your application, our customer service will review it within 3-10 working days. Once approved, we will cease to provide you with all products and/or services from Trimo. In accordance with legal and regulatory requirements, we will anonymize or delete your personal information related to you, except where laws, regulations, or regulatory agencies stipulate otherwise regarding the storage time of user information.

Section 7: Changing the Scope of Your Authorized Consent

(1) You always have the choice to disclose personal information to us. Some personal information is necessary for using Trimo services, but the provision of most other information is at your discretion. You can change the scope of your authorized information collection or withdraw your consent by deleting information, disabling device features, or cancelling your account.

When you withdraw consent, we will not be able to provide services corresponding to the withdrawn consent, nor will we process the corresponding information. However, your decision to withdraw consent will not affect the processing of information carried out based on your prior consent.

Section 8: Obtaining Copies of Personal Information

If you need a copy of your personal information, you can contact us through the feedback channels listed in this policy’s “Contact Us” section. After verifying your identity, we will provide you with a copy of your personal information within our service (including basic information and identity information). However, this may be subject to legal provisions or agreements specified in this policy.

For security reasons, you may need to provide a written request or other means of proving your identity. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request.   4. Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments;
  5. We have sufficient evidence to indicate your subjective malice or abuse of rights;
  6. Necessary for protecting significant legal rights of yours or others’ lives, property, etc., but it is difficult to obtain the individual’s consent;
  7. Responding to your request would seriously damage the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals or organizations;
  8. Involves trade secrets.

Section 10: List of Third-Party Information Sharing

  1. SDK Name: RongCloud SDK Information such as SDK operation logs falls under non-business data. Based on the “Information Security Technology – Personal Information Security Specification” (GB/T 35273-2020), examples of personal information, examples of personal sensitive information, and determination methods, the following description is provided for data related to SDK operation logs:
    • Personal Information: Involves commonly used personal device information within this category, may involve personal information subject’s account.
    • Personal Sensitive Information: Not involved. SDK operation logs only contain non-business data and do not involve personal sensitive information.

Section 11: Self-starting and Related Start Instructions

  1. To ensure that this application can receive broadcast messages from the client push when it is closed or running in the background, the application needs to use the self-starting capability. This will involve sending broadcasts through the system at certain frequencies to awaken the self-starting or related startup behavior of this application, which is necessary for implementing functions and services.
  2. When you open Trimo’s content push messages, with your explicit consent, it will redirect to open relevant content in Trimo. Without your consent, related startup will not occur.
  3. When you open files downloaded within Trimo, it will trigger the related startup of third-party apps.
